DESCRIPTION: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Louisville District intends to issue a Invitation for Bid (IFB) for Buckhorn Tailwater Bank Stabilization in Buckhorn, Kentucky. This project is a Design/Bid/Build where the streambank of Squabble Creek on the west side of Buckhorn Campground in Buckhorn, Kentucky was affected by a flood event in 2022. The streambank experienced severe erosion which is now affecting the adjacent camper pads. Erosion damage to approx. 500-foot-long portion of the streambank along Squabble Creek is to be repaired.
