The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District, has a project to demolish and remove the existing Hydraulic System and its related components, and installation of a new Hydraulic System with supporting controls and buildings. Primary hydraulic system components to be demolished and removed are motors, pumps, reservoir, filters, filter housings, piping and pipe hangers, hydraulic fluid, valves, and manifolds. Any hydraulic piping that is embedded in concrete shall be drained, cut flush with the concrete surface, capped or plugged, and abandoned in place.
