The contractor is fully responsible for maintaining the swimming pools at Barksdale Air Force Base, providing all personnel, equipment, tools, chemicals, supervision, and services necessary to ensure the proper upkeep of both the main swimming pool (approximately 272,000 gallons) and the children's wading pool (approximately 6,000 gallons), located outdoors at Building 2935 at 335 Daedalus Ave, #301, Barksdale AFB, Louisiana, ensuring they are safe, clean, and operational in accordance with all applicable regulations and the statement of work (SOW).

This is the synopsis for the swimming pool maintenance requirement for Barksdale AFB.  The solicitation will be posted on or around 6 August 2025.

The 2d Contracting Squadron, Barksdale Air Force Base (BAFB), Louisiana intends to issue a solicitation for commercial services for Annual Pool Maintenance. The requirement will be a set aside for 100% Small Business with the assigned North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 561790 and size standard of $9 Million dollars.
