Award Notice for for P-8A SUU-92 Wing Pylon Assemblies

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) awarded a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract to Hamble Aerostructures Limited, Southampton, GB, for Wing Pylon Assemblies (SUU-92) in support of the P-8A program Lot 13. This acquisition was conducted on a sole-source basis under statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 3204(a)(l), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements". This effort is covered under the Class Justification and Approval (CJ&A) number 24-0243.

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a sole source contract to Hamble Aerostrutures Limited, Southhampton, GB, for Wing Pylon Assemblies (SUU-92) in support of the P-8A program. This procurement is for an anticipated base of ten (10) SUU-92’s and related support with the inclusion of two (2) option years for a maximum of fifteen (15) additional ship sets per each option year. Deliveries are anticipated to occur 23 months after award.
