Applied Optimization Algorithms for Mission Planning and Distributed Resource Management

The contractor shall perform development activities to update the design of the existing Multi-Element Anti-Jam GNSS Technology for Navigation Operation and Monitoring (MAGNOM) Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) to incorporate Hard Problem #1 (HP#1) Security architecture and conduct Hard Problem #2 (HP#2) trade study to determine recommended design architecture.

The work under this effort will provide resource management and mission planning optimization algorithms and software to develop and transition software built on novel applied optimization mission planning algorithms for coordinating and tasking multiple platforms and sensors. Systems and Technology Research’s (STR) approach will integrate advanced modeling, simulation, and analysis (MS&A) with novel optimization algorithms to develop a robust mission planning framework.

The Subarray Transmit Orthogonality for Receive Multiplexing (STORM) program expands and exploits transmit multiplexing for SPY-6. STORM introduces two capabilities in the base program: Subarray-Level Independent Transmit (SLIT) and Directional Modulation (DM).
