This RFI is amended to include some changes and also to post the Q&As.

The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to solicit comments and suggestions
in order to incorporate new, innovative solutions into a solicitation or Notice of Funding
Opportunity (NOFO) to address coastal and marine biodiversity and ecosystem
conservation in India, should USAID decide to issue either a solicitation or NOFO. By
issuing this RFI, USAID/India aims to consult with the broad community of public
institutions, development partners, non-governmental organizations, private sector actors,
industry associations, think tanks and academia, engaged in the conservation of India’s
coastal and marine biodiversity, protection of important seascapes, and sustainable
management of these resources by those utilizing these areas for their livelihoods.
