The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8), intends to issue a solicitation for the replacement of two (2) obsolete Christie Model WU7K-M lamp-based projectors currently installed at the Orlando VA Medical Center. The existing projectors are no longer supported by the manufacturer for long-term parts and service and rely on outdated lamp-based illumination that generates higher operating costs, more frequent maintenance, and greater downtime than current laser/LED alternatives.
