ATLANTA \u2013 U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Extends Help to PNP Organizations in Vermont<\/h1>\n

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is extending a helping hand to certain Private Non-Profit (PNP) organizations in Vermont that were impacted by severe storms, flooding, landslides, and mudslides starting on July 7. If your organization doesn’t provide critical governmental services, you may be eligible to apply for low-interest disaster loans to aid in recovery efforts.<\/p>\n \n

Eligible Counties and Organizations<\/h2>\n

PNP organizations in the following Vermont counties may apply for assistance: Bennington, Orange, and Washington. Examples of eligible non-critical PNP organizations include (but are not limited to) food kitchens, homeless shelters, museums, libraries, community centers, schools, and colleges.<\/p>\n \n

Loan Details<\/h2>\n

Qualified PNP organizations can borrow up to $2 million to repair or replace damaged or destroyed real estate, machinery, equipment, inventory, and other business assets. The low-interest rate of 2.375 percent and flexible repayment terms of up to 30 years make these loans accessible and manageable.<\/p>\n \n \n \n

Application Deadline<\/h2>\n

The deadline to submit applications for physical property damage is Sept. 12, 2023. For economic injury applications, the deadline is April 15, 2024.<\/p>\n \n
