\nMay 12: SBIR\/STTR Conference<\/h1>\n

\nThe Vermont Procurement Technical Assistance Center is hosting a conference about the Department of Defense’s Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer programs from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. May 12 at the Delta Hotels Burlington,\n 1117 Williston Road, in South Burlington. The conference is for businesses and educational institutions involved in research and development. <\/p>\n

\nSBIR and STTR programs make over $4.3 billion in capital available annually to innovative small companies and the DOD funds half of that. This DOD-focused workshop provides detailed instruction on preparing a proposal to meet the requirements of the DOD, including\n both technical and commercialization plans, and navigating the submission process.<\/p>\n
