National Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated each year from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15.
According to a recent report by the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, there are nearly 4.4 million Latino-owned businesses in the United States which contribute more than $700 billion to the American economy every year. In fact, Latino-owned companies have grown 31.6% since 2012, more than double the growth rate of all businesses across America.
The SBA celebrates by connecting this entrepreneurial population to the following local resources for Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs:
- Connect with Seattle-based SBA mircolending partner Ventures, which provides a multitude of business services in Spanish.
- Network with the Seattle Latino Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce* to get connected to other local Latino business owners.
- Download the SBA Resource Guide in Spanish to discover the Spanish language small business tools available you.
