Joseph Stark Joins the SBA Maine District Office as Lender Relations Specialist

Joseph Stark Swearing In

On January 21, Maine District Director Amy Bassett welcomed and administered the oath of office to Joseph Stark as the newest employee in the Maine District Office.

Joseph is originally from England and began his career in lending before moving to the United States in 2008 where he has worked in the private and public sector as a Financial Advisor, Government Contracting Specialist, and Education Specialist.

As the Lender Relations Specialist for the Maine DO he will work with SBA staff and local lenders to expand knowledge of and access to SBA’s lending resources for small businesses in Maine.

Carranza’s federal government work includes her previous position as the Treasurer of the United States, as well as serving as SBA’s Deputy Administrator from 2006-2009 during former President George W. Bush’s administration.
